Three reasons why I'm the photographer for you...
I crave deep conversations about faith while sipping a chai tea latte as we road trip to the best thrift stores.
I am absolutely floored by God's creation. I am an adventurer at heart, so even at your photo session, you might catch me staring at a bird or admiring a flower.
As a high school teacher by day, I am organized and assertive. I've learned how to pair this with gentleness, which means I can wrangle infants, children, teenagers, and adults alike. Nobody scares me! ;)
Investing in a good photographer is costly...
But choosing a bad photographer will cost you even more, which is why I'm here to tell you what REALLY matters when you're considering booking a photographer.
- Choose someone who you vibe with, especially if you want to build a relationship with this person. I want clients who will choose me as their photographer for every event in their life, from graduation to engagement to wedding to maternity and family portraits. I would rather have consistent families than new clients every year.
- The Pacific Northwest is teeming with photographers of all skill sets and editing styles, and you will find the right one! I love to show off nature in my photographs, and I tend to edit true-to-life with vibrant colors, and a special emphasis on greens and other nature tones you find in the Pacific Northwest. I have taken years to hone in my personal style, and I want clients who will trust me and my process to receive gorgeous images.
- If you only select your vendors or services based on price, you will not get the high-end, beautiful photos that you see on social media, Pinterest, and hung up on your friends' walls. Good photography is an investment! Remember that these are moments you want captured and displayed for the rest of your life - your children and grandchildren will want these photos!
