Hey hey, I'm Emma!
I am the female owner and sole employee of this wonderful business. I am a high school English teacher by trade (and I now get to teach Digital Photography), and a photographer whenever I'm done with kiddos! I've been married almost two years (July 9, woot woot!), and if you scroll down, you'll see a wonderful photo of me and my husband. I also have two cats, I foster other animals if given the opportunity, and we recently bought a house - so follow along on Instagram to see our renovations and thrift finds. I'm a follower of Jesus, I love roller skating, and if I could convince my husband to buy us a travel van, I'd travel for the rest of my life! HOW IT ALL STARTED
What would it look like for you to truly treat life as if it were an adventure?
Hi, my name is Emma, and I am a lifestyle and elopement photographer based in Oregon.
Let me set the scene for you (and let's rewind to 2017): I am a busy senior in high school - a competitive athlete, established theatre nerd, college student wanna-be, and the editor-in-chief of our award-winning journalism program. At this point in time, I had hardly picked up a camera. However, when one of our photographers dropped out of the journalism program, I had no choice but to step up to the plate. Some of my first clients were wayyy out of my comfort zone! I worked with a woman who only spoke Spanish, another client who needed photos with their impressively-modified Volkswagen Beetle, and finally, the task to shoot the cover photo for the magazine - which my advisor had asked to be shot AT NIGHT with neon lights in the background. Through this, I got to try so many styles and techniques, alongside meeting lots of people!
At the end of the year, I had to give the camera back to the school. So, later in college, I found a used Canon camera and kit lens on Craigslist, and began shooting again! Shoutout to my roommate, Grace Marie, and my then-boyfriend (now husband), Rob, for the constant modeling as I started to develop my style and niche.
My ideal client loves to have fun and explore - whether that is in the city or out in nature! I love working with both individuals and couples, which covers a wide range of photoshoot types - seniors, portraits, head shots, bridal portraits, maternity, couples, date nights, anniversaries, motherhood, et cetera! There is no limit to what I am willing to try to get the shot.

Here's the secret: I’m not going to stop you. In fact, I will do everything in my power to make your dream photoshoot happen.

The Team
These are the members of my family and closest support system! My husband is the absolute greatest. Have you seen the photos of me throughout my website? Every single photo was taken by him! Captain is my older cat, and Bossa is our baby, and they both do a great job supporting me (and being cuddle buddies) as I edit photos at home!
